Sci-Fi Particle Effect Animation (Blender; 2021)

The particle effect render was a personal assignment for the capstone project. I wanted to learn more about particle effects and this was one I personally completed and exported into an MP4 layout. The particle effect utilizes pre-generated dot particles that would circle or be produced by an invisible orb located in its center. The particles, depending on several factors, would trail off to certain locations, which would take several tests to determine how far I wanted it to extend. I was able to also edit the size, the color and even the emission glow of the particles themselves. I also learned more about lighting and even placement of my camera. While this is one example, this is the root of how other particle effects work in game, being the basis to create fire or lightning effects. Rendering takes forever to download and is dependent on how much your personal computer can take, with mine only able to produce a fair amount of particles before framerate drops. Once exported into video Iā€™m unable to change the animation in any way, having to export another video.
